The Teams app in Microsoft 365 is most often used for the purposes of video conferencing with prospective or current employers and/or to participate in a classes or legal clinics. In order to use Teams Students are required to request access.
Be aware of the following:
• To maintain your privacy, the school will not share your email address with other students. Students are free to share their CWSL email addresses with other students if they wish, but the school will not do so.
• Student email addresses are not exposed to other students in Canvas.
• Email addresses are exposed in Microsoft Teams. If you are in a video conference in Teams, your email address will be exposed to everyone in the conference.
• If you are a member of a team for a clinic or a class, your email address will be exposed to all other members of the team.
For these reasons, any student who needs access to MS Teams will need to complete a form requesting access to the Teams app in MS 365. By completing this form you are requesting access to the Teams app, and you are acknowledging and agreeing that your CWSL email will be exposed to others in the team or in any meeting you are in.
Note: Completing the form does not grant you immediate access to Teams. The request goes to our Educational Technology team and they normally process the request within a week.
