Legal periodicals, including law reviews or law journals, are secondary sources that analyze, describe and comment on the law. They contain articles written by law faculty, attorneys, law students, or experts in an area of law. Legal periodicals are usually affiliated with law schools, but some are published by non-academic institutions.
